At the very heart of our Foreign Policy, lays the determination to promote the interests of the Romulan Star Command, and contribute to a strong community. The extent of our relations with other groups is determined by the leadership of the fleet. The Romulan Star Command holds relations with other fleets in intricate detail as we prefer to specify our agreements instead of confining them to generalizations.

The absolute extent of our relations with other fleets or groups are rarely documented, as we prefer to blanket the majority of this information in secrecy. Occasionally however, we make exceptions to this policy. The Romulan Star Command does not often commit itself to 'peace treaties' or similar generalizations; common knowledge and basic intuition is sufficient to determine in what light you are seen. If you require the attention of the Romulan Star Command for any reason, feel free to use the forum we have provided for such which can be found here.

Below, we have documented some fleets in the community that we believe deserve a mention.

TANGO FLEET
Tango Fleet rose to prominance during Starfleet Command III and has shown itself to be a devoted force in most games they participate in. Friendly and mature, their members have shown to act with integrity and resolve; this mutual respect and understanding is reflected in our allied status, forming a close bond between our fleets.

FEDERATION DEEP EXPLORATION FLEET
The Federation Deep Exploration Fleet, generally known as FEDX, were initially a prominant and highly successful competitive fleet on leagues spanning the entire SFC series. Encompassing a broad membership base, the fleet has had many successful pilots and are considered one of the better groups in the community.

STARFLEET
Starfleet - once a cornerstone of the community since its foundation in 1998 - has seen its sphere of influence gradually diminish in recent years as the fleet slowly shifts away from Star Trek gaming to pursue success elsewhere. Starfleet purports to support over 16 games, and fails to reach mediocre standards in any of them.

STARFLEET COMMAND
Starfleet Command's origin stem as a break away faction of the original Starfleet. Encompassing a large proportion of Starfleet's best players, the fleet has previously had reasonable success in games such as Elite Force and SFC II.

UNITED FEDERATION OF PLANETS
One of over eight distinct conceptions, the current United Federation of Planets devotes itself entirely to Star Trek gaming. The United Federation of Planets remains a highly bureaucratic organisation that has yet to prove itself competitively in any game it supports.

RED SQUADRONS
Red Squadrons - originally founded in 1998 - has finally stabilised over the last few years leaving constant mergers and splits that were once common place, seemingly over. The fleet has expanded into many non-Trek related games and has reasonable success in these, although the extent of its Star Trek competitiveness remains somewhat elusive.

ELITE
ELITE began in Starfleet Command III as an offshoot of the Phoenix Battle Group. Their membership is well known throughout the community as friendly individuals. The fleet has since expanded into playing other genres of games but will also be participating within Legacy in the future.
